For the launch: everything unlocked

Franzl is completely free right now — monitoring and autopilot, for every installation. You don't need a subscription, you don't enter payment details, and there's no trial clock running in the background that switches something off later.

We're growing Franzl with our first installations. While we do, you get the full feature set, and we get real houses, real inverters and real feedback. That's the whole deal.

Free: Franzl as your energy monitor

All the watching is free — permanently, independently of everything else:

• Real-time dashboard, energy flow, "Your Day" with explanations
• All charts, history, daily and monthly reports
• Remote access on the go, app for the whole family, fault notifications
• Manual control: start and stop charging, set temperatures

Franzl Pro: the autopilot

With Pro, Franzl plans and controls around the clock on his own: solar surplus into the car and the hot water tank, using the cheap hours, coordinating heating and battery, honoring schedules and wishes ("ready by 7 am").

Right now the autopilot is unlocked for everyone — nothing to buy, nothing to activate, it simply runs. And you don't have to take our word that it pays off: the app shows you, with your own measured numbers, what Franzl got out for you.

Later the autopilot will become a paid subscription — the monitoring stays free either way. We'll tell you clearly and in good time before anything changes. Nobody wakes up to a charge they didn't ask for.

If you'd like to subscribe anyway: you can, right in the app. It doesn't unlock anything that isn't already running — you support the development and keep your price once Pro becomes a paid feature. The app says exactly that, right above the purchase buttons, so nobody misreads it.

The principles behind it

1. Watching never costs anything. Your energy monitor stays free, forever.
2. You only pay for what Franzl actively does for you. And he proves it with measured kilowatt-hours and real prices, not marketing projections.
3. Safety is never part of a subscription. Protection features and fault notifications run for everyone.
4. No vendor lock-in. Franzl doesn't sell you electricity, hardware bundles, or maintenance contracts. If you leave, your devices and your Home Assistant stay fully functional, and your data was always yours anyway.
