Franzl is looking for electrical and solar businesses as sales and installation partners. Sell energy management without chaining yourself to one manufacturer and without a platform stepping between you and your customers.

The starting point

Your customers are asking about energy management, and the available answers are either manufacturer silos (only works with one brand, locks you into one supplier) or platform giants that would rather take over the entire customer relationship themselves. Both weaken your position: from specialist trade business to interchangeable installation partner.

What Franzl does differently

• Manufacturer-independent: Franzl controls inverters, batteries, wallboxes, and heat pumps across the brands you're already installing (the full, model-by-model list is public). You stay free in your product choices.
• Your customer stays your customer: Franzl doesn't sell electricity, hardware, or installation work. Inquiries from end customers on our website get passed on to partner businesses in the region, never the other way around.
• Local-first: Control runs on-site at the customer's home, not on a corporate server. That also makes for an easier conversation around liability and data protection.

Your tools

• Franzl Installer App: A guided setup wizard for commissioning: scan devices, assign meter roles, run a function check, hand over to the customer. Straightforward and fast, built for the job site.
• Fleet overview: All the systems you manage, at a glance, with health status; you spot a problem before the customer calls.
• Clear limits: Safety-relevant thresholds (frost protection, legionella protection) are hard-coded into the software and can't be undercut by the optimization.

The business model

Franzl's core features are free for the end customer; the optional Pro subscription is purchased directly by the customer in the app store. Your business is installation and support: commissioning, setting up the meter measuring point, connecting devices, service agreements. We provide the tool; you provide the trade work and keep the customer relationship.

Founding partners

Our partner network is just getting started, and that's exactly the opportunity: the first partner businesses help shape how the installer app and the on-site setup process work, and take on the end-customer inquiries in their region as they start coming in. We're starting focused, with Home Assistant-based installations, initially in Austria; a pre-configured hardware box for the meter cabinet is in development.
