How it connects

Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration zaptec (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

The wallbox is connected through the HACS integration zaptec: control runs exclusively through the Zaptec cloud (no local access, OCPP is not a control path here).

Requirements

Zaptec cloud account with Owner or Service rights on the installation (current limits sometimes sit at the installation level)
Internet connection (no local control possible)
