How it connects

Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration custom-components/zaptec (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

The wallbox is connected through the HACS integration zaptec: control runs exclusively through the Zaptec cloud (no local access, OCPP is not a control path here).

Requirements

Zaptec cloud account with Owner or Service rights on the installation (current limits sometimes sit at the installation level)
Internet connection (no local control possible)
