How it connects
Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration waterkotte_heatpump (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
The heat pump is connected directly through its built-in web server (locally, no extra hardware needed), via the Home Assistant integration waterkotte_heatpump.
Requirements
- Heat pump built from 2018 onward with an EcoTouch or EasyCon web interface
- With EasyCon login, select "EcoTouch Mode" during setup
