How it connects
Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration mypyllant (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
The connection runs through the HACS integration mypyllant (myVAILLANT cloud): using the credentials (email + password) of your myVAILLANT app account, since there's no official app access. For SG-Ready control, additionally wire two terminals on the heat pump's VWZ-AI control module.
Requirements
- A myVAILLANT app account (email + password)
- For SG-Ready: the EVU input and ME input terminals wired on the VWZ-AI control module, the supported modes are Lock, Normal operation and PV recommendation; Vaillant offers no mode to force operation
