How it connects
Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration signalkraft/mypyllant-component (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
The connection runs through the HACS integration mypyllant (myVAILLANT cloud): using the credentials (email + password) of your myVAILLANT app account, since there's no official app access. For SG-Ready control, additionally wire two terminals on the heat pump's VWZ-AI control module.
Requirements
- A myVAILLANT app account (email + password)
- For SG-Ready: the EVU input and ME input terminals wired on the VWZ-AI control module, the supported modes are Lock, Normal operation and PV recommendation; Vaillant offers no mode to force operation
