How it connects
Franzl reads this device through the Home Assistant integration powerwall. If your device is already set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
The connection runs through the Home Assistant integration powerwall: locally via your Backup Gateway, with no cloud involved. It reads state of charge, power flows and grid status, and controls backup reserve as well as off-grid mode. Applies only to the Powerwall 2; the Powerwall 3 has no local interface and runs on its own cloud profile.
