How it connects
Franzl reads this device through the Home Assistant integration tesla_fleet. If your device is already set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
The connection runs through the Home Assistant integration tesla_fleet: a cloud route via Tesla's Fleet API, because the Powerwall 3 (unlike the Powerwall 2) has no local interface.
Requirements
- A Tesla developer app account (OAuth) with the "Energy Product Information" and "Energy Product Settings" scopes
- Your own key pair, whose public key is hosted at
/.well-known/appspecific/com.tesla.3p.public-key.pemon your own SSL domain
