This device is integrated read-only: Franzl shows its measurements and includes them in the optimization, but does not actively control it.
How it connects
Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration sma_ennexos (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
Activate Modbus TCP in Sunny Portal or directly on the inverter. Note: SMA uses unit ID 126 (not 1).
Prerequisites
- Modbus TCP activated
- For battery control: Sunny Boy Storage coupled OR Sunny Home Manager 2.0
