How it connects

Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration sigen (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

Connected locally via Modbus TCP through the HACS integration sigen (Sigenergy ESS): solar, battery and grid values as well as charge/discharge control run through it.

Requirements

Modbus TCP server enabled in the mySigen app (your installer does this)
Firmware SPC109 or later
Write entities are disabled by default in the integration; you need to enable them in the integration settings for control
