How it connects

Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration senec (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

The Senec battery is connected locally via the HACS integration senec (HTTPS connection on your own network). Only the manual grid-charging switch is controllable through it; the peak-shaving function runs exclusively through Senec's cloud portal (mein-senec.de), not locally.
