How it connects
Franzl connects to the device directly and locally: via its IP address in your home network, no cloud detour.
Setup
The heat pump has no open interface for readings or direct control. It is connected via an SG-Ready relay, a switchable Home Assistant entity (e.g. a Shelly) wired to the heat pump's SG-Ready input.
Requirements
- A switchable relay (e.g. Shelly) is connected to the heat pump's SG-Ready input and set up as a switch in Home Assistant
- An additional switching meter on the heat pump is recommended for consumption readings
