This device is integrated read-only: Franzl shows its measurements and includes them in the optimization, but does not actively control it.

How it connects

Franzl connects to the device directly and locally: via its IP address in your home network, no cloud detour.

Setup

Pylontech battery packs connect to the BMS port of your hybrid inverter (e.g. SolaX, Deye, Victron). You don't set up a separate profile for them. State of charge, power and temperature come through via your inverter's profile, and control is likewise handled by the inverter.

Requirements

The hybrid inverter (SolaX/Deye/Victron/…) must already be set up as a device in Franzl; the Pylontech values then appear automatically through it
