How it connects

Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration tuya_local (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

Connected via the HACS custom integration tuya-local: runs locally during operation, no cloud dependency. The target temperature as well as Boost/Eco presets are controllable.

Requirements

A Tuya "Local Key", which you generate via a Tuya IoT Developer account
