How it connects
Franzl reads this device through the Home Assistant integration mqtt. If your device is already set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
Connected via Home Assistant's MQTT integration: this requires a HeishaMon add-on board (ESP8266/ESP32 firmware) connected to the CN-CNT port of the Aquarea indoor unit, which provides the data locally via MQTT, entirely without the cloud.
Requirements
- HeishaMon add-on board (ESP8266/ESP32) connected to the CN-CNT port of the indoor unit, a modification that, under some installer agreements, may affect the warranty
- SG-Ready does NOT run via HeishaMon, but via a separate Panasonic CZ-NS5P interface board on the unit
