How it connects

Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration mypv (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

Connected via the HACS custom integration mypv, which communicates locally over the device's web interface, no cloud needed. Franzl sets the heating power steplessly (0–3000 W, up to 9000 W on the 9s, up to 3500 W on the ELWA 2).

Requirements

On the my-PV device, raise the "Power Timeout" in the web configuration to at least 300 seconds, otherwise the device falls back to self-regulation between Franzl's commands
