How it connects

Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration myenergi (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

Connected via the HACS custom integration myenergi, which connects to your myenergi account via cloud API. Good to know: the zappi manages solar surplus internally by itself; Franzl therefore only sets the charging modes (Stop/Eco/Eco+/Fast), not a fixed charging current.

Requirements

A myenergi account with an API key (generated via the myenergi app or the hub)
The API key becomes invalid when the master device is changed, you'll need to generate a new one in that case
