How it connects
Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration keba_keenergy (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
Connected via the HACS custom integration keba_keenergy, which accesses the web interface of the KEBA KeEnergy controller (AP440 display) locally, no cloud needed.
Requirements
- Firmware version 2.3.2-6 or later (heat pumps from May 2021 onward)
- PV surplus operation must be unlocked on the AP440 display with a technician level-3 login. Your installer usually takes care of this
