How it connects

Franzl reads this device through the Home Assistant integration melcloud. If your device is already set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

Connection via the Home Assistant integration melcloud: links your (old) MELCloud account via the cloud. Applies ONLY to existing devices with the older WiFi adapters (MAC 5xx/-559/-567/-577); newer adapters register in "MELCloud Home" and need a different profile.

MELCloud credentials stored in Home Assistant
The energy sensor (kWh) is not available on all models
