How it connects
Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration melcloudhome (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
Connected via the HACS custom integration melcloudhome, which links your MELCloud Home account into Home Assistant. No local connection, cloud only. Applies to newer units with the new Wi-Fi adapters; older units on the classic MELCloud platform need a different profile.
