How it connects
Franzl connects to the device directly and locally: via its IP address in your home network, no cloud detour.
Setup
Control via the SG-Ready inputs of the FTC6 hydro module, switched via relay (e.g. Shelly Pro 2). The MELCloud cloud connection is no longer suitable for control, which is why Franzl doesn't use it for this.
Requirements
- 2-relay device (e.g. Shelly Pro 2) wired to the SG-Ready inputs of the FTC6 (terminal TBI.3); installer task
- Optional for measurements + direct control: CN105 dongle with ESPHome (requires access to the FTC board, also an installer task)
