How it connects
Franzl connects to the device directly and locally: via its IP address in your home network, no cloud detour.
Setup
Activate Modbus TCP in the Mennekes 4Installers app (HEMS setting). For 4You 500/700: unit ID 1. For Charge Control / Xtra / Premium: unit ID 255.
Prerequisites
- Modbus TCP enabled via the 4Installers app
- Static IP for the wallbox
- Firmware ≥ 1.1.33 and ≠ 1.1.34 (known regression)
