How it connects
Franzl reads this device through the Home Assistant integration kostal_plenticore. If your device is already set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Reading works right away. For active control, enter the device's IP address once in the Franzl app (“Make controllable” in the device detail).
Setup
Important: Kostal uses Modbus on port 1502 (not 502). Activate Modbus TCP in the inverter's web interface under Settings → Modbus.
Prerequisites
- Modbus TCP activated in the inverter's web interface
- For battery control: firmware ≥ 03.05.xxxxx and external mode activated
