How it connects
Franzl reads this device through the Home Assistant integration modbus. If your device is already set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
Measurements come via the Home Assistant core integration modbus (read-only) over Modbus TCP. The heat pump can be controlled via the SG-Ready/PV inputs of the x-center.
Requirements
- Modbus TCP must be unlocked by Kermi support (no self-service)
- Older non-Pro devices only have Modbus RTU, so a TCP converter is needed for this
- The Bösch (AT) sub-brand is identical hardware and uses the same profile
