This device is integrated read-only: Franzl shows its measurements and includes them in the optimization, but does not actively control it.
How it connects
Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration hoymiles_wifi (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
Connection via the HACS custom integration hoymiles_wifi: talks directly and locally to the WiFi DTU built into the device, no separate OpenDTU device needed. Franzl only reads values here; we deliberately don't offer control. At night, when the inverter is powered off, it's briefly unreachable; that's normal.
Requirements
- Add the
hoymiles_wificustom repository in HACS (not in the standard HACS catalog)
