How it connects
Franzl reads this device through the Home Assistant integration homematicip_cloud. If your device is already set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
Connection via the Home Assistant integration homematicip_cloud: your Homematic IP Access Point (HAP) connects automatically via the eQ-3 cloud, no further setup on the device needed. If you run a CCU3/RaspberryMatic instead, you can alternatively go local via homematicip_local. Without an internet connection, the cloud path (HAP) is temporarily inactive.
