How it connects
Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration connectlife (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
Connection via the HACS custom integration connectlife: links your ConnectLife account (also covers Gorenje devices) to Home Assistant via the cloud.
Requirements
- Add the
connectlifecustom repository in HACS (not in the standard HACS catalog) - Use a ConnectLife account without SSO login. With SSO, set a dedicated password instead, or create a shared device account
- Accept the new Hisense terms of use in the ConnectLife app first, otherwise the connection is blocked
