How it connects
Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration oyvindwe/connectlife-ha (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
Connection via the HACS custom integration connectlife: links your ConnectLife account (also covers Gorenje devices) to Home Assistant via the cloud.
Requirements
- Add the
connectlifecustom repository in HACS (not in the standard HACS catalog) - Use a ConnectLife account without SSO login. With SSO, set a dedicated password instead, or create a shared device account
- Accept the new Hisense terms of use in the ConnectLife app first, otherwise the connection is blocked
