How it connects

Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration ha_heliotherm (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

Franzl connects your heat pump via the HACS custom integration ha_heliotherm over Modbus TCP to the Remote Control Gateway (RCG).

Requirements

You need the RCG2, RCG2+, or RCG3 ("web control"), a paid Heliotherm accessory
Enable Modbus TCP in the RCG web interface
