How it connects
Franzl connects to the device directly and locally: via its IP address in your home network, no cloud detour.
Setup
Franzl connects directly to your wallbox's eCB1 REST API via its local IP address; a Home Assistant integration is not needed for this.
Requirements
- The eCB1 must be in "manual" operating mode, otherwise the wallbox's internal solar logic keeps regulating in parallel
