How it connects

Franzl connects to the device directly and locally: via its IP address in your home network, no cloud detour.

Setup

No Modbus, no local HTTP API: the Elvi connects via OCPP 1.6J directly to the OCPP server built into the Franzl Gateway. You set up the connection in the EVBox Connect app, not in Franzl.

Requirements

Set MeterValuesSampledData in the Elvi configuration, otherwise the wallbox only reports energy, not power
Enter the backend URL without the station ID suffix
Set phase rotation in the EVBox Connect app to "…RST"
Only enable RemoteStart if you don't use RFID/autostart
