How it connects

Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration e3dc_rscp (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

Connection via the HACS integration e3dc_rscp, which talks directly to the S10 using the RSCP protocol (encrypted, TCP). Battery control is deliberately modal (Charge/Idle/Normal) rather than continuous, because the S10 firmware limits manual grid charging (typically once per day with an upper limit).

Prerequisites

RSCP password set in the S10 web interface: Personalize → User profile → RSCP password (different from the portal password!)
