How it connects
Franzl reads this device through the Home Assistant integration modbus. If your device is already set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
Connection via Home Assistant's modbus integration on your heat pump's NWPM or NWPM Touch accessory module (pcoWEB).
Prerequisites
- NWPM or NWPM Touch module (pcoWEB) installed on the heat pump
- Modbus TCP enabled in the pcoWEB web interface (port 502)
- Check the controller generation (WPM 2004/2006/Touch) during setup, since the register addresses differ
- System M: Modbus depends on the order configuration; without factory-fitted Modbus, control runs over the SG-Ready relay
