How it connects

Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration solarman (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

Connection via the HACS integration solarman to your inverter's Solarman logger stick (TCP port 8899). Alternatively, the Home Assistant add-on "sunsynk" for a direct RS485 connection.

Prerequisites

Solarman logger stick on the same network as the Franzl Gateway
