How it connects
Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration daikin_onecta (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
Connection via the HACS integration daikin_onecta to your Daikin cloud account (OAuth through the Daikin developer portal). For split units without a local API.
Prerequisites
- HACS installed in Home Assistant
- Daikin Onecta developer account (OAuth), using the same login method as the Onecta app
- If your device is reachable locally, use the "Daikin Split AC with Wi-Fi adapter" profile instead (the cloud is limited to 200 requests per day)
