How it connects

Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration daikin_onecta (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

Three connection routes: the EKRHH accessory module is preferred (Modbus TCP, local, full control including power limits), alternatively an SG-Ready adapter BRP069A61 (potential-free contacts), or, without extra hardware, the HACS cloud integration daikin_onecta.

Prerequisites

With EKRHH: Modbus TCP enabled in the Onecta app menu, module installed
With SG-Ready: BRP069A61 wired to terminal X1A, "Smart Grid" enabled in the heat pump's installer menu
With the cloud connection: Daikin Onecta account using the same login email as the Onecta app
