How it connects
Franzl connects to the device directly and locally: via its IP address in your home network, no cloud detour.
Setup
Connection via Modbus TCP (port 502) or Modbus RTU directly on the heat pump's NEO-RKM accessory module (not on the standard NEO-RWP controller). Only enable one of the two modes (TCP or RTU) at a time.
Prerequisites
- NEO-RKM accessory module installed on the heat pump
- Modbus TCP (port 502) or RTU enabled (not both at once)
- For the watt-precise PV surplus setpoint to take effect, the PV mode in the heat pump's web interface must be set to Modbus TCP/RTU
