How it connects
Franzl uses the Home Assistant custom integration aqua_temp (installable via HACS). If your device is set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.
Setup
The connection runs through your account in the AquaTemp/Hi-Temp app (integration aqua_temp): operating mode and setpoint temperature are controlled through this cloud.
Prerequisites
- An account in the AquaTemp/Hi-Temp app
- Important: the cloud allows only one active session per account, so it's best to set up a second account and share the device with it, otherwise you'll get logged out of your own app
