This device is integrated read-only: Franzl shows its measurements and includes them in the optimization, but does not actively control it.

How it connects

Franzl reads this device through the Home Assistant integration apsystems. If your device is already set up there, Franzl finds it automatically.

Setup

The EZ1 is read locally through the Home Assistant integration apsystems, so there's no cloud dependency in operation. Current firmware no longer offers remote control of power or on/off; the profile only provides readings.

Prerequisites

"Local Mode" must be set to "Continuously" in the APsystems app (via Bluetooth)
At night the inverter is expectedly unreachable (no power)
