How it connects
Franzl connects to the device directly and locally: via its IP address in your home network, no cloud detour.
Setup
The Terra AC is preferably connected directly via Modbus TCP (no detour through Home Assistant needed); alternatively it runs over OCPP 1.6 against the Franzl Gateway's built-in OCPP server.
Prerequisites
- Modbus TCP must be enabled via the TerraConfig app (installer access)
- Firmware version 1.6.5 or later for the direct Modbus connection
